TECHNICAL REPORT :

These traps are for the massive capture and for the monitoring of noxious insects.

CHARACTERISTICS :

Fly-Trap is a trap for the monitoring and the massive capture of various phytophagos and noxious insects. It may be used in the open country and in the dark airless spaces, such as greenhouses, stables, silos and foodstuffs's stores. Thanks to its formula the "Fly-Trap" is very versatile and therefore it is considered to be a universal trap. It is realized in plastic material and on its surface there is a glue with a long term adhesiveness. For the massive capture of fruit's flies and of olive-trees' flies the trap is equipped with replaceable adhesive films (patented). The colour of the Fly-Trap and the presence of an attractive (pherormone or phagoattractive) persuade the insect to go near the trap where it remain glued definitively. Namely the Fly-Trap caused in the insect a chromotropic and a chemical attraction. These traps for insects are ideals for many kind of insects, you only need to change pheromons or attractive substances.

INSTRUCTION FOR USE :

Assemble the insects's traps, following the instructions written on the package. Put the dispenser using the wires and the proper hole on the trap. In the open country put the Fly-Trap above the leafage. In the dark airless places put it away from the foodstuffs, where there is possible a change of the air. Fix it in the stablest way.

FIELD OF APPLICATION :

The Fly-Trap may be used for monitoring (1-3 traps/ha) or for the massive capture of Dipterans, Thrips, Aleyrodidae, Aphids and other Phytophagos. Namely a reduced number of traps for unit/surface enables this insects's traps for monitoring of the insects' population, in order to establish if and when intervene. On the contrary, the use of 10-15 traps for each hectare in the open country or the use of 1-2 traps in 100 mq in the dark airless spaces enables this insects's trap for massive capture of insects avoiding the pesticides' use.

INSTRUCTION :

Put the traps above the leafage and therefore in a stable way; avoid to dirty the attractive-dispenser with the glue. Pay attention: don't touch the eyes and the mouth with the adhesive film. Keep it away from the children's and the animal's range. These insects's traps can became dangerous if not used properly.

GENERAL:

The Fly-trap is particularly indicated to control infestations caused by: 1) olive-trees flies (Bactocera oleae), fruits flies and cherry trees flies (Ceratitis capitata, Ragoletis cerasi,etc.); 2) cheese factorys flies; 3) stable's and breeding's flies; 1) In order to use correctly the Fly Trap and to check the fruits and the olive-trees flies, it has to be put 20-30 days before the appearance of the noxious insects, as follows: in a quantity of 12-15 traps/ha for monitoring the fruit flies - in a number of 15-18 traps/ha for the olearia flies (Bactocera oleae). Number of Fly Trap / hectare has to be related to the number of insects that normally appear in that area and these traps have to be put in a stable way and above the leafage. 2) In order to check the flies of the cheese-factory, we advise you to put the Fly-Trap near the entrance­ and the exit's points of the premises. Change frequently the removable adhesive films; put the traps above and in some points far away from the vertical of the storage's area or foodstuffs's working areas. 3) In the stables and in the breedings the Fly-Trap is particularly indicated for fight the flies, in the milking and in the stabling area; when required, put one trap for each 1-3 heads of cattle or 5-8 heads of sheep and of goat; in the poultries 1 trap every 25-30 heads.
